Organic Lapsang Souchong - Black Tea

Hailing from Shaowu in northern Fujian, China, a region famed for its smoked teas, this Organic Lapsang Souchong captures centuries of tradition. The tea is crafted from large, mature leaves, ideal for the repeated smoking process over pinewood fires. This method, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, imparts the tea with its signature smoky aroma and deep, rich flavour.

The leaves are beautifully dark, with streaks of anthracite and occasional golden tips. In the cup, it delivers a full-bodied experience with a smooth, smoky profile and a subtle sweetness. With 98 ̊C water 
And steep for approx. 3-5 mins
